Kimchee Mussel Poke

Bringing The Flavors Of Hawaii

If you enjoy tuna or salmon poke this mussel recipe is a great twist to those traditional recipes.

 

Makes 4 servings

 

Ingredients:

 

1 Pound cooked mussel meat

1/2 diced medium sweet onion

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds white or black

1/2 Tbsp kimchee paste

1/2 Tbsp ko choo jange sauce

2 green onions chopped thin

Kosher salt to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes to taste

 

Directions:

 

In a stainless steel or glass bowl combine all the ingredients well and season with salt and red pepper flakes. Refrigerate for at least one half hour before serving.

 

Serving Suggestions:

 

Serve with sticky rice.

Add diced avocado.
