Crab Stuffed Phyllo Cups

Phyllo cups stuffed with crab meat, cheese, cream cheese and chives with a fresh dill garnish.


A Delicious Appetizer


These seafood appetizers are easy recipe to prepare and quite delicious.




1 pound Seatech Chilean Crab Meat

1 package cream cheese (8 oz.), softened

4 packages Athens® mini fillo shells (15 shells per box)

1 small bunch of chives chopped

Zest of one lemon

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Seasoning salt to taste

horse radish to taste (optional)

fresh dill for garnish




Preheat oven to 350⁰F. In a large mixing bowl blend cream cheese, lemon zest, chives and lemon juice into a bowl mixing thoroughly. Pick over crab meat to ensure there is no shell. Gently mix the crab meat with the other ingredients. Season mixture with seasoning salt and horse radish (optional) to taste.


Remove fillo shells from the freezer, fill with crab mixture and place in the oven on baking sheets for 6-8 minutes until warmed through. Place on trays and serve.
