Crab Avocado and Cheese Wontons

Avocado adds additional dimension to the flavors and texture of this recipe. Crab Avocado and Cheese Wontons are easy to make and great for an afternoon snack or appetizer at gatherings.




8 oz. Seatech crab meat

8 oz. Cream Cheese, room temperature

1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

1 Avocado, peeled and pitted, mashed or cubed

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp Onion Powder

1/4 tsp seasoning Salt

1 teaspoon Chopped Cilantro

1 package Wonton Wrappers

Oil for frying




In a medium bowl, stir together crab meat cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, avocado, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, and cilantro.


Place one tsp of filling on a wonton wrapper. Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wonton in half forming a triangle and press the edges to seal making sure to remove any air pockets.


Heat oil in a large pot to 375°F. Fry the wontons in small batches to not over crowd the pot and maintain temperature.


Fry for about a minute on each side until they wrappers are golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain.


Serve hot.
