Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip

Hot crab and artichoke dip made with Seatech chilean rock crab meat.

Delicious Crab With Melted Gooey Cheese Yum!


This simple to make hot crab and artichoke dip recipe is always a party favorite. The crab meat, gooey cheese and artichoke hearts combine for one delicious appetizer.




1 pound Seatech Crab Meat

8 oz. package of cream cheese

1/4-1/2 cup mayonnaise, add more for a creamier dip

1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese divided

1 medium sweet onion, diced

1 6-8 oz. jar marinated artichoke hearts, chopped

Black pepper to taste

Old Bay Seasoning or other seasoning salt to taste

Crackers for serving




Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.


In a large mixing bowl blend together cream cheese, mayonnaise, 1 cup of cheese, diced onions and chopped artichoke hearts and mix together. Add crab meat to blend incorporate. Add black pepper and seasoning salt to taste.


Place the crab dip into an oven save serving dish and sprinkle the reserved cheddar cheese across the top. Cover dish with aluminum foil and into the oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until the cheese starts to turn a light golden brown and dip is bubbling. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes then serve with crackers.


Serving Suggestions:


Use sun dried tomatoes in place of artichoke hearts.

Add some cooked shrimp meat to the dip.
