Cheesy Crab Garlic Bread

The best garlic bread ever

This cheesy crab garlic bread is a great starter or even make a meal out of it served with a nice green salad.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 large loaf French bread

1 lb. Seatech Chilean Rock Crab Meat

1 stick butter

4 cloves garlic, finely minced.

¾ cup cheddar cheese, grated

¾ cup Monterey jack cheese, grated

½ grated parmesan cheese, grated

¾ cup mayonnaise

4 green onions, white and light green parts minced

Fresh ground pepper a

 

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 375⁰ F.

Melt butter in a small sauce pan on medium heat. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and turn burner down to low. Slice loaf of bread in half horizontally, lay crust side down on a foil-lined baking sheet. Use a pastry brush to cover the bread with the garlic butter from the sauce pan and place in oven for about 10 minutes until the edges start to brown and remove from oven.

In a bowl blend together the crab meat, green onions and mayonnaise blending thoroughly. Add fresh ground pepper and seasoning salt to taste

In a separate bowl blend together the shredded cheeses.

Spoon an even layer of the crab mixture over the toasted bread. Evenly place a layer of the blended cheese over the layer of crab mixture. Place back in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and just starting to turn golden brown. Remove from the oven, slice and serve while still warm.

 

 

Serving Suggestions:

 

Serve with spaghetti.

Serve with a green salad.

Use eight ounces of shrimp and 8 ounces of crab instead of all crab meat.
